Temeka Thompson

Temeka is the CEO of NLS, a woman, minority, disabled veteran owned organization that specializes in career coaching, career development, workshops, staffing/recruiting and Accounts Payable services.

After being a stay-at-home mother for 2 1/2 years (unemployed) and ready to get back in the job market, she knows what it feels like to apply to job after job with no response, attend interview after interview with no job offer in sight. She’s learned some secrets along the way and as a result of her career success she wants to help others.

With over 18 years of exceptional work-ethic and expertise in recruitment and staffing, she has the gifted ability to discover talents in her clients by exploring and assessing their current skills.  As a result of her coaching programs and services, over 97% of her clients have either transitioned into a new career, been empowered with confidence to land the interview and have received a marketable resume design that positions them for the growth in which they’re seeking. She’s one of the only Career Coaches who infuses a  holistic approach that aligns with your value system, your goals and your non-negotiables that highlight the skills you already possess.

Temeka utilizes her experience to assist in spawning business growth and improving productivity with absolute professionalism. With military, private sector and government industry knowledge coupled with her MBA in Marketing and Masters in Human Resources, she brings an innovative approach to filling your staffing needs – finding that “Purple Squirrel” in the haystack, solving problems and reaching your ultimate goals.
